Tahini Sesame Noodles recipe

Sesame Noodles

Potluck, picnic or party


4 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
4 Tbl sesame paste
2 Tbl sesame oil
6 Tbl tamari
4 Tbl sake
3 Tbl rice vinegar
2 Tbl honey
1 tsp sambal oelek
3 dashes of five-spice powder
2 scallions, chopped
4 Tbl chopped fresh cilantro
16oz linguini
fresh mung bean sprouts
chopped peanuts
2 scallions, diced


  1. In a blender, purée all the sauce ingredients until free of lumps.
  2. Cook the noodles until tender and drain immediately; toss with the sauce.
  3. Serve sesame noodles at room temperature, topped with sprouts, peanuts and scallions.

Serves 10

Approximately 162 calories per serving of Sesame Noodles.
