Simple Baked Kale Chips
You will be hard-pressed to find a healthier or lower calorie snack than baked kale chips. They’re easy to make, and the kale can go from garden to your snack table in under an hour. These chips are crispy and salty, and packed with fiber, vitamins, and nutrients.
Ingredients
8 cups fresh kale, washed, midribs removed, spun dry, and roughly cut into 3-4″ pieces
1 Tbl olive oil
Teaspoon sea salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Toss kale with olive oil.
- Lay kale pieces in one layer on two baking sheets. Leaves may touch, but should not overlap.
- Sprinkle salt onto leaves.
- Bake approximately 10 minutes, until chips are crispy and beginning to brown.
- Serve immediately.
