Renting Motorcycles with Motor Bike Trip
Driving in downtown Nice is crazy. The roadwork, the bus lanes, the unending intersections, the traffic! But head north out of the city, beyond the poor roads and bumper to bumper traffic, and you’ll find yourself in the Alpes-Maritimes (Maritime Alps or Sea Alps) – fast, windy roads and scenery that will take your breath away.
We researched our options for motorcycle rental in Nice. Motor Bike Trip seemed like the way to go. We typically ride BMWs, and they had several models. In addition to BMW, they offered Ducati, Honda, Suzuki, Harley Davidson, and Royal Enfield. They also had most of the gear we’d need, so we rented helmets, jackets, and a GPS. Admittedly, their selection of women’s sizes was tiny–okay–nonexistent, but we made do.
We rented two Royal Enfields one day, and a BMW F700GS the second day, arriving early each morning before the rush started. Each evening we returned the bikes and gear to the rental office so we didn’t have to worry about overnight parking or the risk of vandalism. Our apartment was only a 10-minute walk from the rental office.

We thoroughly enjoyed riding in the Cote d’Azur and Provence. We had a good experience with Motor Bike Trip and recommend them highly. To find out more, visit the website of Motor Bike Trip. If you’re interested in renting motorcycles in Spain, see our blog post about IMT Bike in Barcelona.
