Japanese Ginger Dressing

Benihana Copycat Salad Dressing


1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup peanut oil
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
2 Tbl water
2 Tbl minced fresh ginger root
2 Tbl minced celery
2 Tbl ketchup
4 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper


  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients.
  2. Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds or until all the ingredients are well-pureed.

Makes 1.75 cups
Approximately 38 calories per tablespoon
